The Clerk of the Circuit Court is a Passport Acceptance Facility. It is located at the Volusia County Courthouse at 101 North Alabama Avenue, Room C119, in DeLand, Florida.
No appointments necessary however all passport applications must be in the mail by 3:00 p.m. This requires applicants to be in the office no later than 2:30 p.m. Applicants arriving after 2:30 p.m. may be requested to come back another day. Each application takes approximately 30 minutes. Check or Money Order is required.
The U.S. offers two types of travel documents required to enter and leave most foreign countries.
A valid U.S. Passport Book
You have the option to apply for a passport book, a passport card, or both. Both require applicants to provide documents that attest to U.S. Citizenship such as birth and naturalization certificates.
